I set up the interview about one week before speaking with HR. It was hard to get in contact with HR after getting the first e-mail to call in order to set up an interview date/time. She called back to apologize. I didn’t think this was an issue and continued on to the interview the following week.
This interview was the worst one I’ve ever been a part of! The HR rep was rude and unprofessional. The job description did not match the actual job. I knew within about 2 minutes that I was no longer interested in working for the company! She asked me a few questions that I elaborated on and she told me she just needed the answer. One question was what reports do I run? I said credit and then elaborated on what I do with these. She said “I’m asking what reports do you run?” And I said “do credit reports not count?” And she said something along the lines of “all I needed was the answer.” I got off the phone feeling thankful that I work for such a fantastic company right now. She should not be the first contact if you want to gain people that are not robotic and rude!
I didn’t wait to see if I’d be moving on because I had no interest!
