Disrespectful, disorganized, and downright insulting.
I went through 7+ rounds of interviews, met with 15+ people, was brought into their office for a tour and even introduced to employees not on my interview schedule. After months of time invested, the company went completely silent — no decision, no closure, nothing. Weeks later, still left hanging.
This isn’t diligence. This is dysfunction.
What Went Wrong:
Excessive interviews far beyond market norms for any role.
Zero respect for candidates’ time — months of prep, interviews, and follow-ups wasted.
No communication after the final round, despite the company heavily signaling interest.
False signals — showing candidates around the office, introducing them broadly, then ghosting.
Takeaway:
If this is how Justworks treats prospective hires, I shudder to think how they treat employees once you’re inside. The process screamed indecision, lack of alignment, and weak leadership.
Advice to Management:
Stop running candidates through marathon gauntlets you’re not prepared to close. Respect people’s time. Communicate decisions. And recognize that every candidate you mishandle shares their experience — publicly and privately. Right now, your reputation is taking the hit
