You walk in, sit in the common room with a beautiful receptionist for twenty or thirty minutes, then go into the "Lead Recruiting Directors" office which is where you sit and wait alone for another ten minutes ( with a very nice view though) and then finally get to the interview process. "Why do you want to work here/ be a stockbroker?" answer could be anything but to get the interview and job offer in two minutes all you have to mention is money or a drive to be rich and you are in. After that you tour the floor and have a job starting next week. It takes a total of thirty minutes and you are waiting for about twenty six of them.

Came in around 11am, waited 20 minutes, talked to a senior broker. He asked me why i was interested in this field, what experience i had, what other jobs i have had. he gave me a pitch, gave me 20 minutes to look it over. instead of 20 minutes, it took him 2 hours to get back to me, i read it (didn't do to good) but i told him how motivated i was, and plus he knew i had no experience in sales ever before.. long story short, 4 days later i can cold call like a pro. He gave me a chance because i kept telling him how motivated i was and how being a stockbroker is my dream.
