J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Jet (San Bruno, CA) en août 2017
Entretien
Generally pretty smooth. The recruiter reached out via LinkedIn, had a quick call basically making sure I was interested in the position, asked a few basic questions, and then pushed me through. The remainder was just an app game which was silly but is make-or-break apparently, and then a superday at the HQ in San Bruno. The superday consisted of three back-to-back interviews, about 45 minutes each. One is a very basic case, assessing the profitability of an acquisition company; one is a UX discussion where you look at the site and point out what you'd change for user experience; one is purely behavioral.
Each of the interviews has at least a few behavioral and fit questions thrown in, but the interviewers I had were generally really nice and fun to talk to, so it doesn't feel high pressure at all. There was a big focus on assessing whether or not I could disagree with management, and also to assess collaborative experience.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Company A is acquired by Company B. They are smaller, but more profitable. Why?
Initial phone screen followed by in person interview. The in person portion was three rounds of different types of questions. Mostly typical interview questions and one more creative portion where you redesigned a webpage.
I found it to be positive and helpful. I learned a lot about the role and the culture. There were multiple rounds and I got to meet with several managers. I would recommend the role/interview process to my peers.
Seamless but challenging. The questions are geared to make you think critically while the answers are not necessarily the end goal. The more research you do the better. Good people
