J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Jane Street en janv. 2018

The first round has lots of hard math/probability problems. Then the next round was a codepen challenge where you had to solve the problem in front of them, live. I initially tried to do it in SML because that's the only functional programming language we learned in school, and I know Jane Street likes that stuff. But that was a big flop and completely unnecessary since I just ended up asking to do it in Python.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
How to reduce the addresses in various ports. Like if you have ports = {"a": "12.x.y.3", "x": "4", y: "x.x"} you have to first replace y=x.x with y=4.4 since x=4. Then you have to replace a=12.x.y.3=12.4.4.4.3

Fast and efficient, everyone is friendly.
The interview was fully techinical, no background or behavioral questions for me. The style is very collaborative — asking for hint in a proper way would be considered a plus I guess.

First round was online, one round of 1hr class design questions.
Given a class interface, you need to implement it with another given class interface. My question is like a general tree question.
You kinda need to go far enough to get to next round, so if you're too slow or have trouble solving easier parts, you cannot make it. I didn't move on.
