This was for a java role. The technical interview involved a screen sharing exercise where I needed to read a prompt and then begin coding on my IDEA (intellij) in java. There is NO leetcoding. The challenge was to create an application that is able to print a receipt for a grocery shop. 1. Print out a receipt with inventory. 2. Enable addition and removal of items in the basket 3. Implement functionality to handle promotions on specific dates.
Although time to quickly model things out using OOP is encourage they did insist on moving things along a little quicker so best to go with an approach and get coding sooner than you think. The interview is conducted by two interviewers - one tech lead and one senior. The senior had some audio issues and a strong accent that made most of the questions difficult to understand. The other interviewer had to interject to reiterate the question.
Unfortunately I ran into an issue that led to me debugging a few times - I ran into a complete mental block on some of the functionalities readily available in the Maps library to compare items.
The interviewers were friendly and spend more time watching you work things out. You are able to look things up and check documentation if needed.
Regardless, the interviews were polite and patient despite knowing the interview was going horribly they were very compassionate about the session.
I applied via referral. First round was a technical screen with the manager of the team I would have been placed on. Then second round is LC + System Design. Third round is behavioral.

Got interview results over next few days. Overall a pretty decent process . I did used python for coding rounds and interviews
First interview with recruiter. Then knowledge-based questions followed by a coding challenge by an engineer. Then a system design problem. They normallly get back to you very quickly from each round.
