Screened by HR recruiter. Appointment set. Turned out I knew the person, the hiring manager. It seemed to go well, was told I'd hear back - but didn't. Even though we know each other, I never even heard back that I'd been rejected. I never even got an automatic rejection letter; I had to log into the web site to check my status. Very unprofessional.
