Had several 1:1 Zoom conversations with the recruiter, hiring manager and VP of Product - overall those went very smoothly, was asked standard questions about past experience and specific capabilities related to the role. Got extended an invite for half day, on-site interviews with more key stakeholders, as well as someone from the HR team. Following the on-site, the recruiter mentioned that they may take some time to get back with potential next steps, as they were interviewing several other candidates - totally understandable. However, after over a month I still hadn't heard back - even sent a brief follow-up email. Ended up finding out on LinkedIn that they've already filled the role. Not a good look to ghost your candidates, even if you end up going with someone else.
