I wrote a review about this some time ago. And it got removed. I thought about writing one again. Horrible interview experience. Oh wait... Is it an interview if the interviewer doesn't show up on the call and doesn't answer your emails or phone calls? I read bad reviews on glassdoor, but I was desperate to get a job. So, I thought how bad could it be; took it with a grain of salt. But yes, the reviews don't lie. Unprofessional staff and rude interactions. Thank god, I don't work here. I applied online and someone contacted me over email if I was okay for a phone interview. We set up a time and I waited and waited and waited. I emailed, I called. No response. A day later the lady emails me to ask if I am based in the Montreal area. No apology, no justification, no reasons for the random behaviour. The job was advertised for GTA and I had applied accordingly. So random, so rude. Day 0 - I apply Day 3/4 - Email for interview scheduling. I respond that the link is not working and if we can speak the next day. Day 12/14 - Get an email saying sorry to respond to late and if we can talk the next day. I say ok. They respond that they look forward to speaking with me THE VERY NEXT DAY. Day 16/17 - Day of the phone interview. No call, no show, no response. Next day - Asking me if I based in Montreal. I respond no and then I get no answer whatsoever. What kind of interview process is this? What kind of culture is this? Good god, help those who work here.

I was interviewed five times over four weeks; three times over the phone, once over a video call, and once in person. The interview process was unnecessarily long, and I was repeatedly asked questions that didn't seem to have much to do with the role or my ability to perform in it (i.e., "why do you want to work at Ivalua?"). They take their time responding to emails, and because of this, I feel I lost an interview opportunity with another company—I didn't know when my final interview with Ivalua would be (they took a couple of days to tell me the day based on the availability I had provided), which made me seem disinterested as I couldn't clearly tell the other company when I would be free that week. In the end, I was told about an approved offer from Ivalua via email, but I was not sent the offer. I asked to see it, but in response, I received a phone call. Over the phone, I asked to see the written offer a few times, and again, I was told I had to essentially agree with the salary figure first... I felt tired and disrespected by this point, and I didn't have the energy to play this weird game after such a protracted interview process. I decided to withdraw my application/decline the verbal offer. During the interview rounds, I was also told about extended work hours, a fact that doesn't match the low salary on offer.
