HR screen was scheduled and then the day before it had to be rescheduled a week out, which happens. Then again, the day before the rescheduled call, it was rescheduled again another week out. This time the rescheduled call was canceled 90 minutes before the time because they “found their candidate”. While I totally understand that the ideal candidate can be found while going through the initial phone screen process, it’s rude to keep rescheduling someone as an apparent back-up. Either do the phone screen or put the candidate on hold if you think you have your person. Continuously rescheduling is just plain rude and doesn’t display good candidate care.
