Three panel structured interview. They took turns asking questions from the prescript-ed list, and wrote down my answers.The interview was laid back, and the panel made me feel at ease. After about a week after testing (and passing), I was scheduled for an interview.

Phone call. Basic info and verification of experience and or certifications. Take a test online for mechanical aptitude and one for personality or work behavior traits. Next step is going to the facility for in house test and exam . These were more advanced than I expected , and also had around 100 questions and given 2 hours to complete . Not an easy test, and not information that someone with no experience in a shop and/or industrial setting could understand . If you pass this then you go to panel interview and job offer.
