      J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Intellect Design Arena (Mumbai) en juil. 2019

      Entretien

      I had 2 technical interviews. First one was telephonic and seconds one was VC. First interview was conducted by Technical team member along with the manager.(Thats what I was told). Questions were asked only by that team member for first interview.The second interview was VC with the Manager only. The HR coordination was very well and professional however technical panel was totally unprofessional. For both the interviews the panel didn't showed up for the interview on the scheduled time due to which both interviews were rescheduled twice. As per the JD they were looking for a candidates with must have experience in Java,J2EE,Springboot,Microservices,MongoDb,AWS or any Cloud technology.The same had been confirmed by the HR person after going through my resume. However interviews were not at all in relevance with the JD. Based on the questions and the sequence of the questions asked in the first interview I could understand that the interviewer was quite amateur to conduct an interview of a senior level.The questions were not difficult though. The second interview was the worst. The interviewer was extremely arrogant,sarcastic and totally unprofessional. It looked like he had made up his mind even before conducting the interview.

      First Interview Below are the interview questions asked.I have tried to maintain the same sequence. Tell me about work experience A scenario based question about file processing. Cross questions on the answer given. After justifying the answer he could not answer the question I asked about his cross question A scenario based question on Threads. Print odd even numbers with multiple threads Methods from thread class Have you worked on hibernate How you would achieve caching in hibernate Have you worked on collections what is load factor in hashmap How hashmap work internally What version of struts have you worked on What is action form what is return type of execute method in struts What is singleton What is clone method is used on singleton object What class clone method belongs to Second Interview First comment from the interviewer on my resume was that my work experience is of production support. This was the communication starter. (I don't understand if production support people work on web applications,java development using open sources,Microservices development with cloud and NoSQL then what the hell developers do as per him) Second arrogant question from the interviewer was why am I switching my current job so soon (which is after 2.5 years by the way) Third sarcastic comment from this person was so you have worked on three domains in the total experience of 9 years!.(Now I would like to highlight here I am a java expert and not a domain expert. Technologies are not dependent on domain. I don't understand how having worked on three domains with a rich technology skillset in 9 years of experience is bad!!!) What is your educational qualification What was your stream in engineering Have you passed SSS[And this one was the winner!!! :) ] (At first I thought I heard wrong so I just murmured yes but he asked the same question again) What is your % score for SSC What is your % score for HSC What is your % score for Engg What place have you done your SSC from Are you aware about spring AOP.I answered that I am aware but I have not worked on that. Interviewers response was "and you say you have extensive experience on spring".(I never said that neither spring AOP was on my resume.) So you have experience on spring boot, spring cloud? My answer was yes. No questions asked. Are you aware about garbage collector What is connection pool How would you implement connection pool in any of the server that you have worked on. What happens to the connection when the job is done Which one should be used standard jdbc or hibernate What are the types of jdbs statements Which one is used to execute procedures How would you check slowness of your application. For all the answers he responded with arrogance and total disrespect Tell me about your current application. What it does and all. I explained the stack and behavior. Considering his responses I assume either he had no idea what a microservice architecture is or he didn't get what I had explained because he was busy forming another sarcastic comment to pass. Extremely unprofessional and arrogant individual. Worst experience ever. Please save yourself the frustration and time. Think twice before you apply for this company. I had not read interview reviews on glassdoor before appearing for this interview. I could have saved my time,efforts and frustration of dealing with such person. The reason to give the review in such details is not due to frustration of not getting an offer but the reason is to bring this in light for candidates and HRs of this company because it is waste of time and efforts for both candidates and HRs in spite of their sincere efforts. Request to the HR: If at all you feel this review incorrect or exaggerated, please go though the VC recording for the interviews in case you maintain that. I assume since its secure medium you might have that.
