I was reached out to by a recruiter from IDT on LinkedIn... I am not in biotech but I thought I would see if it aligns. I had a 30 min call with the recruiter who was nice, the hiring manager asked to have a call with me after reviewing my resume.. during that 30 min video call, he initially asked why I applied (when I didn't...) and why I was interested in joining. it felt like I had to sell myself to him when it should have been more of a two way road. overall, the convo went fine. but then afterwards, I was ghosted by them and got a basic decline email from the system. No real, caring email from the recruiter - WHEN SHE REACHED OUT TO ME! absolutely awful process, I felt just like a number... (the hiring manager even bragged about how many interviews he had), so I am sure that would be the same once you start working there. do not recommend!
