My interview process with Instil was thorough and well-organized from start to finish. It began with a warm and informative screening call with the recruiter, who was incredibly transparent and friendly, which set a positive tone for the rest of the experience.
Next, I had the opportunity to meet with the CFO, and I was immediately struck by her tenacity and drive. Her passion for the company was contagious, and it gave me a clear sense of the high-performance culture at Instil.
Following that, I participated in a product demo, which was a highlight for me. The team leading the demo was thoughtful, engaging, and clearly invested in the product’s impact. It was refreshing to see a modern take on nonprofit tech.
Finally, I met with one of the co-founders. I was impressed by his big-picture vision for the company and his deep understanding of the challenges nonprofits face today. His awareness of the problem space in the sector made me confident that Instil is a company with a strong sense of purpose.
The entire process was lengthy, with multiple rounds of vetting on both sides, but I appreciated that. It gave me time to get to know the company deeply and to feel confident in my decision when I ultimately accepted the offer. I’m grateful for how transparent and thorough the process was, ensuring I knew exactly what I was getting into before coming on board.
