Instacart interview procedures were VERY thorough and quite impressively conducted during the midst of a global pandemic. From end-to-end, the process entailed:
1. Recruiter screening
2. Call with Hiring Manager
3. 4-45 minute Google Hangouts Interviews With Cross-Functional Teammates + 2 more recruiter check-ins
4. 2-30 Minute Google Hangouts With Business Unit Executives
5. Final 30 Minute Call With Hiring Manager
6. Recruiter Touchpoint, Leading to Offer Phase
Instacart made sure to give me a wide array of exposure throughout the process to ensure the fit was mutual. Questions were a mixture of behavioral, mini-case, and situational, with an emphasis on aligning background/experiences with day-to-day expected responsibilities for the role.
