Interviewed only with an Insight Global recruiter. I was uncomfortable in that the initial main focus of the interview was clearly for the recruiter to gather contact information for other potential leads - not for me but for Insight Global. He asked me where I had applied and the name and phone number of everyone I had interviewed with! When I stated I didn't have all of that info handy, he asked if I could look it up and send it to him. I told him I was uncomfortable providing that information to any place where I hoped to be hired, so the recruiter became a bit pushy and kept trying to get me to provide the info. And then he became pushy again. And again. The jerk.
If Insight Global doesn't have policies against this type of "recruiting" then they should. Collecting information for Insight Global is NOT my job. I distinctly felt that I had been contacted about a supposed job, which I now don't believe actually existed. The recruiter found my resume online, but contacted me for the mere purpose of providing leads for him, not for the supposed job I had been contacted about. Sure enough, I never heard back. I called just to check and was told I would "definitely" be updated by the end of the day - that was a week ago. It's pretty pathetic if Insight Global knows that this type of behavior is allowed. I sure would like them to respond to this.

Question 1
None, except to keep focusing on providing contact information.
A recruiter from Insight called me after I applied to a position. I answered his questions, and he seemed to indicate that I was a good fit. He said he would get back in contact with me soon, but he never called back.

Entretien
Interviewed with two at Insight Global before interviewing with potential client employer. Both were very helpful in letting me know what of my background would be most helpful to client and I got the job. Both people I dealt with were enthusiastic and helpful even when the hiring company got their administrative wires crossed just a bit. Insight Global helped straighten everything out and the client and I were both happy.

Entretien
An initial phone screen, followed by a phone interview with Insight, and finally an in-person interview with the client.
Insight was initially helpful up to the interview claiming they would get back to me the next day with feedback, at which point my recruiter proceeded to completely ghost me not responding to emails or calls. I've never encountered professional ghosting before and found it distasteful and unprofessional.
The client was obviously desperate and looking for someone who would require zero training and be perfect out of the gate. They also displayed red flags of an inability to keep up with client demands and refusal to adjust their expectations in-line with the amount of work and their lack of manpower. An unrealistic expectation at the rate they were offering.
I would not work with Insight Global again.
