I had a wonderful experience through the recruitement process, starting with the primary HR Recruiter who also had direct GM experience in his past, I felt that the first round of interviews went really well and we were able to easily navigate situational discussions because of the commonalities we had. This ended up saving lots of time and we were able to get to other questions surrounding hotel goals, key personnel and even some light ownership conversations! I was quickly escalated to the Vice President of Operations who I spent some significant time with. He was very impressive in his knowledge and tactfulness. I genuinely felt like he cared about me as a person first, even before it got down to business… not a normal thing in today’s leadership, and I mean this in the most positive-forward manner. I also found that the President/CEO made himself ‘available’, far beyond what other companies have done, and I really appreciated that about the organization, nobody was ‘untouchable’ or ‘unreachable’, I can see why the culture was so positive at InnVentures!
