thanks for your detailed and honest review.
We want to apologize for the way your "application" (kinda the wrong word, since we approached you...) was treated.
The hiring process including the interview structure, the time in which we inform you about the next steps and the feedback you're receiving through the process was recently improved by our company. We have seen the great problems in our hiring process and addressed them. We hope that at some point in life our paths may cross again and we have the chance to deliver you a much better candidate experience.
As for the working hours: In the early stages of our startup, by the time you were in the hiring process, these were indeed our working hours.
Ben Mallah once said on how to succeed:
"You gotta work the hours - nobody else wants the hours."
And we believed in such a mindset.
However, we no longer have that working schedule. We have implemented freedom in the choice of when you want to work and from where. As long as we reach our goals, you can work at night, early in the morning or 9 to 5 - whatever you desire!
As said already, we've done the research too and we are improving on our mistakes so they won't happen again in the future. Still, we apologize for the experience you had.
