J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez InVision en févr. 2022

I interviewed with the recruiter who was friendly and he said the hiring manager already wanted to speak with me. The interview was more about him selling me the idea of working there than an actual interview. He asked to send availability times, and I did. Then I didn't hear back. So a week later I followed up. It seems I slipped through the cracks, but yes, the hiring manager wanted to talk with me. So that was set up and it went well (from my perspective). The hiring manager and I had a great rapport and I expected a call back. It's been 2 weeks with no word. It seems I've been ghosted. I had mentioned I was fairly far along in the process with another company, but I preferred InVision. That's too bad.

A recruiter reached out to me after submitting my application. We had some initial trouble finding some time that worked on our calendars, and ultimately I ended up agreeing to an interview during my vacation to make it work.
I call into my zoom interview with the hiring manager on my vacation day and sit alone for 10 minutes before sending off an email asking if they need to reschedule. I wait another 20 minutes and then dropped - sending yet another email saying I would be happy to reschedule the call at their convenience.
Never heard another word from Invision. I would have been fine with any response at all - "We changed our minds," would have been better than radio silence. Generally, it felt like my time was disrespected in this brief and disappointing process.

I was never given the opportunity for a discussion.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez InVision (Grand Rapids, MI) en oct. 2021

Overall the interview process was pretty fast paced and the hiring manager was very nice and easy to talk to. Things were moving along well and they even prescheduled the remaining 2 interviews. Then after interviewing with two people, both who had been with the company for less than a year, asking a lot of boiler plate interview questions, I was told they would not be continuing on and cancelled the remaining interviews. It felt a bit shocked and disappointed to be honest and it ended pretty abruptly.

What would you do if someone comes to you with a problem? (This question is so vague.)
