I interviewed first with the recruiter to determine credentials and experience. After that, I interviewed with my potential supervisor and their supervisor. It was all conducted virtually since most employees work remotely.

Emailed in a portfolio of work. Spoke with a hiring manager over the phone who insisted that I take the exam as soon as possible as she was very excited to see the exam. Took the 90 minute exam and emailed it back. I never heard from them again. I waited a week or two, sent an email politely asking if they had decided one way or the other, as I had other positions that were available. Never heard back. I’m very disappointed that a company would go to the extent of having an interviewer take an exam and not even have the courtesy of a follow up. Regardless of who was hired, at least give the person who interviewed with you and took out an hour and a half of their day to review a resume; a five minute response letting them know one way or the other.
