I got a positive response about 20 days after my application. The first interview was a 30 minutes video chat with the recruiter. He did a great job at introducing the company, the team, and the role for me. Then I had to do a HackerRank test which included a short programming challenge that resembled real-world situations and two simple but interesting technical questions. The next step was an interview with the hiring manager. This one was technical, but at a relatively high level, not necessarily going into details. And the final step included two back-to-back technical interviews, one focusing on system design and another on programming skills. Overall, it was a very smooth and professional process. The interviews had a relaxed and professional feel, the interviewers were very friendly and helpful, and my interest in the role grew after each step. Also, the recruiter was one of the best recruiters that I have ever worked with. He was very helpful and supportive through the whole process and I had a great experience because of him. And I have to say: I did not have all the requirements based on the job description, but I was confident that I could learn them in a reasonable amount of time. And I was very forthcoming about this in all of my interviews. There are a lot of things that I didn’t know and I said so when I couldn’t answer a question.

Good process. Very transparent from HR side. The technical was a bit letdown. They did not ask many questions, it seemed they had already made up the mind to not select.
