Recruiter company gave me a very first interview and then the Scientists I will be working with give me another interview. Luckily I passed the phone interview and will go to an on-site interview next Monday. Basically illumina HR always focus on the project you did and will ask you questions on your resume.

Starts with HR screening call, then moved on to hiring manager call, then moved on to virtual panel interview with 6 members of different teams, whole process took about a month

They asked for a video one way interview which was strange. Feels like the manager does not have the time or cares enough about the process to do the interview themselves.
Talent acquisition asked standard questions but couldn’t tell me much about the specifics of the team or role. Would imagine that would have been more of a hiring manager task.
