Submitted my application online. Received an email to participate in an video interview. Video interview was done on the same day. 2 weeks later, I took the initiative to contact the HR for an update of the interview status but did not receive any reply whatsoever. After repeated attempts to contact the HR i gave up. Months later a typical automated email reply came regarding the failure to shortlist for the position. Poor HR from illumina.

In the technical round, I was asked to solve Java problems like star pattern printing, string manipulation, and logic-based tasks like checking even/odd numbers and parsing strings. One question was about accessing specific characters from the end of a string.
