We had a screening conversation over the phone, and I was then given a set of programming challenges to complete. After doing so (including some improvements after receiving feedback), I was then invited to an in-person interview.
Write a REST API that consumes and outputs json then put it in a docker container. Pretty standard stuff. There were some questions about my background, and some design questions.

Do they actually know what a developer does? I don't think the company is actually interviewing people to hire them than to give the hiring manager an opportunity to hear himself speak.
