A more accurate job description was not given, it was not clearly explained what the responsibilities for the position were, and also not explained why you are asked to do a creative writing assignment that is unrelated to the job. It felt like you were doing the research and coming up with fresh ideas for them to pitch to prospective clients. A lack of transparency for this position, all around. If you want candidates who are a better suited for the position, then you need a job description and creative project that reflects that actual responsibilities and tasks for this position.

You first have a thirty minute interview with the recruiter, if they, like you then you have an hour meeting with a manager, receive an assignment to do in an hour, then talk about the assignment afterward. The entire process was a good three weeks total and the final interview was almost three hours.
