I applied and received an interview call soon after. I interviewed with HR first and then proceeded to have a technical interview with the hiring manager. I was told I'd be notified of a decision in 2 weeks. I reached out to the hiring manager two weeks later but was told they were still conducting interviews. I reached out to HR a month later but did not get a reply. I once again reached out to the hiring manager after another 3 weeks who told me they had moved forward with another candidate. I would have appreciated a response earlier as being strung along for 2 months even after submitting a recommendation was not very professional. Please do better at updating candidates! This is somebody's career and they could be in the middle of dire circumstances.
