I was hired without interview. I applied in November, took the exam in usajobs and heard nothing for a long time.
In late January I was emailed, told I would be contacted in 2 weeks to schedule an interview, the very next day I received an email from same address telling me I was hired and I received my tentative offer that day

Short, standardized an with no problems. It's a long process but if you get in its worth it since you enter the federal workforce where you will be able to grow and learn as a professinal

What has been a difficult experience with a client?
No interview for this position. I was just called with a job offer and told to come in to pick up my equipment. This was during covid, so it may have been different.

Very Easy. No interview.
I applied online. Attended the hiring event. They selected 200 people. Sent us and email and we had to answer questions within the email. Wait for a tentative offer email. Accept the offer. Wait for someone to call you and do your fingerprints and take a pic for your badge. After that process i had to wait for a firm offer and that offer let you know your pay and schedule.
