I went through two interviews for a position at Hyqoo. The initial 2 interviews themselves went relatively well — the HR interview was quite superficial and the technical interview was fairly easy.
However, the overall experience left a very much negative impression. After the interviews, the recruiter strongly encouraged me not to decline the offer they sent the next day. Shortly after that, communication completely stopped and my follow-ups were ignored. I was never informed whether the position had been filled or what had happened with the process.
A lack of transparency and basic communication in a hiring process is a major red flag. Candidates invest time and effort preparing for interviews and completing assessments, and they deserve clear updates. Besides that, Hyqoo wanted to include me in their "circle" - a special community to whom may pass in the process -, but I do not see the point of that if we don't have an active contract. The last interview was an onboarding into this environment, but once again it doesn't make any sense that the interviewer didn't know my situation either and even asked me about it.
Speaking of the assessment, a significant portion of the questions did not seem relevant to the role itself, which made the process feel poorly designed (+50% of the questions weren't necessary for the job). It gave the impression of a generic test rather than something tailored to the actual job.
Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional, mainly due to the lack of communication after the interviews.
