They either had no intention of actually considering me or were just checking the box interviewing a POC candidate — waste of time either way. Had four 30 minute interviews within a few days (red flag #1) and wasn’t even asked to submit writing samples (red flag #2). After not hearing back for two weeks I followed up with the recruiter who replied that “the hiring manager was still interviewing,” then got an automated rejection a day later (lol) — no feedback or anything.
