I had to interview with the Front Desk manager, Rooms Director, HR, and I had to meet with the GM. Kind of intimidating but worth it. I initially tried to get into a Supervisor position, however that didn't go well straight out of college. A recruiter informed me of the open position for entry level FO and I filled out an application and submitted my resume online. I heard back about two days later. I scheduled the interview and met with managers.

idk, I always hate the standard why should we pick you questions. FO manager's questions were pointed and situational. Directors questions were vague and abstract. GM was just gauging my motivation and character.
They asked how I would respond to certain scenarios. What I would do in other scenarios. Overall nothing too hard and why I wanted to work there. They want to make sure you’ll stay calm in all scenarios
I started applying to work for the Hyatt back in 2020 with only two years of experience for a front desk position. Fast forward to now 2024, with nearly 6 years of front desk experience and still can't even land a basic entry level position. Submitted an application, and was automatically denied the very next day, no interview whatsoever.
Apparently six years of experience isn't enough. You need a Bachelor's degree to work the front desk and check people in. Either that or the person at HR is pulling names out of hats.

It was easy, just answer truthfully and say things about yourself and you’re hired. You must bring your id and other personal information about self that will identify you to the employer.
