Had a long thorough interview that was insightful of what exactly the job entailed. Was not offered the position. Never received a rejection letter. Left hanging. Did follow up the evening of the interview with thank you letter to store director. Felt it was sloppy, not professional to leave an applicant hanging.

applied then got a call from a hr person. went in met with the director of the store. had a nice roughly hour long conversation about what my goals were and if they would align with what the company had to offer.
