I recently interviewed for a Java Full Stack Developer position. I felt confident in my approach to the questions and answered everything to the best of my ability. However, despite giving the correct answers and a solid approach, I was informed that I was rejected. What disappointed me most was the lack of professionalism in the process. The focus seemed more on minor technical glitches rather than understanding my problem-solving approach. I believe that interviews should focus on evaluating candidates' skills, problem-solving abilities, and logical thinking, rather than penalizing for small, fixable issues. It would have been more constructive if there was a better understanding of how I approached the problem. This experience has left me feeling discouraged and frustrated.
