I did an automated text screening. Based on that, I was invited for a virtual interview. The whole process was weird, didn’t seem cohesive, and unprofessional at best. There was a recruiter who just told me that they would be pursuing next interviewing step. I had to ask her how to do that and she got snippy with me and said a person from the candidate experience team would call me. He texted me and just gave me dates and time the team was available. I have my best date and time, after not hearing back for hours I had to reach out and confirm if that was a confirmed interview slot. This was a Friday, and the interview slot was the coming Monday. He also seemed irritated at the follow up question and that he was no longer in the office. He stated he sent me a zoom link via email which I never got because he spelled my name wrong in my email address. The virtual interview itself was interesting. No one had their cameras on and they repeated questions each other asked. It made me wonder if they were multitasking. The director of operations made inappropriate comments about my previous work history.
