Terrible experience.I was contacted by recruiter to interview for a position.Video call scheduled for an hour with HM and 3 other engineers.HM joins the call for 10 mins explain role asks few basic questions about my experience and say he had to leave because of other meetings and his team will drive. His team of three people where one was interested in learning more and responding to my questions. The other two were least interested in asking me any questions and they were least interested in answering my questions. The call need before scheduled time because interviewers don’t have any questions to ask which is so weird. Then why did you even want to interview?I get an email from recruiter saying hiring manager thinks you better suit for a different role. How did he come to that conclusion without even asking any technical questions in his 10 minutes?I was asked to apply for another role which I will interviewing with diff HM again which said machine learning engineer where I mentioned to recruiter ok so I’m a full stack developer and I don’t have any experience on ml stuff.Recruiter says don’t worry the hm is looking for full stack folks.Well not really after my interview with hm I felt like they are looking for what they mentioned in Job desc.I go to next rounds and I said I code in a particular language and then they ask me to code In language they us which is diff.I was very clear that I code in a two diff languages and I will use one of them for my coding interview for which they agreed and moved forward. Its ok I can learn but be clear to say what is expected so people can prepare.I must say it’s not trail and error to make people interview for bunch of positions to see where they fit.Dont waste peoples time. Please do let hm to go through resumes first before jumping on to calls.Schedule an interview only if profile matches and be very clear on what needs to be expected in an interview.

Interview process is fully with AI. HR does almost nothing and you never speak to anyone. First interview is with a text AI. Second interview is with a video AI. Don’t waste your time with them.

I had an interview with a mid-sized tech company for a front-end developer role. The first round was a coding assessment that focused on JavaScript and React. It was timed and moderately challenging. The second round was a video call with a senior engineer who asked both technical and behavioral questions. One interesting part was when they gave me a real-world UI bug and asked how I’d debug it. I appreciated their practical approach. The final round was with the hiring manager, who focused more on cultural fit and my long-term goals. Overall, it was a smooth and engaging process.
