Had a fairly short in-person interview after applying online. Mostly talked about my background and interests, as well as my knowledge as to how HRW operates. Make sure to do your homework and have some knowledge of the division you're applying to.

The selection process and interview itself was short, took about 3 weeks for the initial call after online application and 15 minutes of informal interview. The interviewer was courteous and allowed for questions, explained the job and was flexible is discussing the position further
