I was super excited to interview with Hudl based on research and other reviews. However, the second I joined the final round interview, I knew exactly what kind of people were interviewing me. For the entirety, it felt like a power trip. There was a significant lack of structure, clear path of questions, & overall negative energy. I could pick up on that they didn’t even work well with one another. They were coming up with questions as they went, speaking in run on sentences, & were only concerned about what I could do for them. It was a one way street when it certainly should be a TWO way conversation. This was a 60-min interview, 90% of the interview was them asking questions. I was unable to get to all of my questions at the end. In conclusion, I’m not impressed by representation or the recruiters as a whole. Not everyone can be the #1 pick but at least treat people like people. Have more structure and a clear path. After such a strange experience, I talked with someone who works for them, told me I definitely dodged a bullet. I think it’s one of those frat environments where everyone is trying to be better than the other. It felt bad in the moment but glad it didn’t work out now! I wouldn’t even waste your breath interviewing here. They have probably lost truly valuable people who could contribute a lot of great work but they’re too busy trying to “size” you up in the interview. Very very odd. I will never apply here again and I hope this helps someone.
