Had a basic interview with the owner and seemed very sweet and professional about the massage therapist position. The owner expects the applicant therapist to perform a massage as part of the interview process which is pretty standard when applying for a massage therapist position. A scheduled massage was to be held a few days later. When that day arrived and I showed up the owner completely forgot about it and the receptionist had to call her back to receive her massage. When she arrived there were no apologies for her lateness and I let it slide and the massage exam started. During the massage the owner had complimented on techniques and styles were all positive and that I would be a great addition to the spa with a little training that the owner said would provide with all new staff. I was to have a follow up phone call with the owner a few days later to go into the next step of the interview process. When I didn't hear from the owner on the day I was supposed to be notified I called the spa and left a message with the receptionist. A few hours later I received a call from the receptionist with a message from the owner that the owner wanted to go into a different route and I was not offered the position.
