The recruiter was very knowledgeable and kept me up to date on all next steps so no issues there but what was disappointing was my manager conversation. First of all, I was speaking to a manager that wasn't even to be my direct manager which I thought was a little odd. Second, she literally read off a list of questions with no enthusiasm whatsoever. I answered them and then there was no conversation after it was just on to the next. It's like she had written off me as a candidate before the interview started. I was shocked. She seemed really nice but was so unengaging that it made the interview extremely grueling. By then end of it I felt like I didn't even know the person I was talking to as she didn't feel genuine or act remotely interested. I was really looking forward to this interview and the thought of moving forward with Hubspot but was shocked at my experience as I did not think the manager I spoke to was representative of their values.
