Started with internal recruiter, then hiring manager, followed by 4 separate rounds with various team members, then final round with the COO, and finally back to the hiring manager as the closer. Only 1 of the 4 middle rounds felt like they were properly prepped or had a goal or reason to be interviewing. The rest felt like meet-and-greet, see if you like the candidate type rounds. The COO no-showed our first interview. It was rescheduled 1.5 weeks later, then cancelled the morning before it was supposed to happen and I was told to hang on for a day or two while they locked in new availability for COO. Received a call next day that they'd extended an offer to another candidate and she'd accepted. Not sure why they couldn't just say that to begin with instead of keeping my availability wavering. After so many rounds and weeks of waiting, you'd think there'd be more consideration.
