They will contact you via email first. Then I had two separate phone interviews lasting over 30 minutes each. Followed by a skype interview which lasted over an hour. Then asked to come into there office, which they refused to give an address or directions to it. Which is some what understandable since it it an investigation place so they want to see if you can find it. But also a bit ridiculous to even play such a game to someone you already supposedly find qualified. The in person interview was essentially two interviews with two separate people in the office. They then give you a typing test while in the office. I was then sent to go and have a "ride along" interview with a statements investigator. This took up another couple hours. After that I had three other phone conversations with the management. I also had numerous other email conversations regarding a start date. All of this over about 4-5 weeks with a promise of a job. I was told I had a job and was just waiting on the right training class to start. Then it was I was waiting for a certain person to also train me in the office. I was given two separate start dates. For about a week out each time. After all this wasted time, I was told they didn't have the budget to hire another person right then because business had slowed down. But of course they would be sure to call me down the road the second that changed and I got a halfway apology about it. The main guy comes off as super rude at first but was a bit nicer later. In general I would not have wasted my time and wouldn't recommend anyone else being put through this garbage. I was also asked to submit writing samples as well.
