Called by an AI chatbot immediately after applying. It asked me to summarize my work history and why I’m a good fit for this role (which was posted with minimal details to start). I asked it for a human interviewer and it scheduled a time for one to call me. When that time came, the chat bot answered again. If you are applying around, an AI interviewer is going to misinterpret your skills and experience and put you at a serious disadvantage. You’re better off applying somewhere with a human recruiter/interviewer.

The interview was fine, but unfortunately, there was no communication afterward. It’s disappointing when companies don’t inform candidates of their status, especially after taking time to attend the interview. Better communication would improve the candidate experience.
