Entretien
It was a fairly straight forward process and they were quick to get me in front of all the people that I needed to meet. Everyone was very friendly and answered my follow up questions quickly. Communication was fluid and I always knew where I stood. I was asked very direct and specific technical questions but what they want to know is that you can think your way through an issue and provide solutions.
However! I was very clear with my salary expectations from the start and when the offer came it was well below my expectations. To add to my concerns they changed the job title in the contract and had not included a description of the role and responsibilities. What I find very concerning is that they tried to include the vehicle and cellphone usage reimbursement as part of my base salary. I think this is reprehensible since the client ends up paying for all these things as part of the general conditions. I think its unethical to try to have your client subsidize your payroll. There was also an agreement on a hybrid schedule but they refused to add that to the employment offer as well.
Ultimately, my initial excitement turned to disappointment as I felt like I was dealing with some used car salesmen when the offer came. They understood my concerns about the low salary compared to my existing salary. Ultimately they made me feel like this was not a trustworthy workplace.
