The company initially reached out to schedule a phone screen. However, after the interview was scheduled and I began preparing, they abruptly canceled the meeting invite. When I contacted the recruiter for clarification, she responded with, 'After reviewing your résumé again, we have decided to move forward with other candidates based on your qualifications.' This felt highly unprofessional and dismissive of my time. If this is how they treat job candidates, I can't imagine the experience for employees. In hindsight, I'm relieved I avoided this situation.
