Screened by a recruiter. Came into the office for 1:1s and a prepared presentation to the group on the relative merits of several asset classes. Depressing location and office (typical flight to avoid Philly's horrid tax situaish, shame on both sides). BRAGGED about people "taking a pay cut" to work there(!), as if that is appealing in any way. Also very smug about their "independence" vs a wirehouse. An oft-touted selling point to clients (albeit with debatable real-world significance), but meaningless at best and actually a negative at worst to a potential or actual employee. Incredibly turned off by almost every aspect of the operation and the people. Wouldn't have taken the job if offered.

One day - four hour process; met with numerous group leaders. Most of the interviews revolved around going through experience and general investing questions. HR got back within a week with the offer.
