Went over my experience, what the position consisted of, hours I would work, who I would work with. The interviewer was nice and friendly, she explained somewhat how she thinks my previous experience in customer service would definitely be useful in this type of position. She asked me very few questions. She made good eye contact. During the interview she had to leave a few times to take care of guests at the front desk, which was kind of bothersome, but not too bad.

A very nice woman interviewed me, and we got along, but I never heard back. Nice business hotel. Smiling staff, I would have fit in but I was ghosted. At least call to say no Thank you.

Interview process was very professional, but yet very comfortably relaxed, I felt at ease. The asst. mgr. was very friendly, he asked questions of past work exp., how do or would I handle certain situations with customer service..."customer is always right" how would I turn a negative guest experience to a positive one, etc.

If you had a guest that came down to guest services shortly upon checkin stating that they booked the 2 queen suite not the standard 2 queens; unfortunately there are no available suiets left for the evening. What do you do to give this guest a enjoyable guest experience?

It was brief, they originally wanted to cross train me in departments however I was left on the first day of training and had not enough knowledge of the specific micros system in the restaurant, hence staying in the front office department over the idea of cross training with the restaurant.
