E-mailed the General Manager directly and then was asked to apply online through their portal. I initially applied for a Sales Manager position which was filled at the moment but they wanted to interview me anyway.
After meeting with the General Manager and Director of Human resources, it took them one week to ask me consent for employment back ground check and then almost four weeks to get an offer.
After hired, you understand why they take so long in the hiring process which is basically to save money and lack of organization.

No difficult questions, just very specific ones regarding the job and the brand you are applying for.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Highgate (Long Beach, NY) en oct. 2016
Entretien
It was friendly, welcoming and warm. I met with both the Director of Front Office, along with the Hotel General Manager after being introduced by the hotels Director of HR and Operations Manager. Had a very long conversation about my skills and the hotels needs (how they would do well together). The interview process lasted about 40 minutes, however it felt very 'home' like. Little pressure to answer questions right or wrong. It was a proper steady flow of conversation which in the end was more productive so not only could the employer get a 'real' feeling for me, but so I could get a true feeling from my future and current employers.
