Chaotic. There were some issues with the zoom link so we seemed to be in different rooms thinking the other party was late.
I emailed to check what was up 10 minutes after the scheduled start time. 20 minutes after the scheduled start, the interviewer and I finally made it to the same room.
The interviewer kicked off by saying that I had kept them waiting over an hour and blew way out of proportion what clearly was a minor scheduling conflict.
It left a very sour taste in my mouth as I had been there on time and also checked in when the meeting hadn’t gone off as planned.
Also - how had I kept them waiting an hour? The meeting was scheduled for 10:10 and we kicked off at 10:30.
It did not seem like they were very organized. They didn’t seem to know anything about my experience or background.
After the interview, I was asked to make unpaid content as a next step.
