Overall it was very interactive process, interviewers were helpful and supportive , except the last Behavioral round with Hiring Manager (he didn't smile much). But a bit lengthy and time consuming, specially the interview scheduling takes lot time and efforts asking for updates with recruiter. Finally got an update a week after final round with a constructive feedback, that I also appreciate. I performed well in 1st 3 round IMO, I feel that if they really want to strictly follow some rules for hiring like Amazon, they need to schedule interviews faster, currently their process can easily take a month.

Afther the HR screening , they want you to implement a react application with some requirements. After this step , one of the engineers comments on your PR and you are somehow having an idea of how things are done at Hello Fresh. I was able to proceed after this step. Now here comes the funny part. You will be having 4 different interviews split in 2 phases. if you fail the first phase then you won't be able to proceed further. The first phase : tech talk with a lead / staff engineer Again a technical challenge , online , they want you to share your screen and solve an algorithm question second phase : system design , behavioral screening. The live algorithm was a disaster , why would you screen someone again if the initial react project is not enough? Even thoug they said in the email that the candidate is able to check google and stackoverflow for some guidance the senior engineer did not allow me to do that. Meanwhile he was typing , doing absolutely something else instead of focusing on the interview. companies should stop acting like they are google or meta. you have a web app done with react. that is it.
