I followed up approximately two weeks after the call and the representative replied he didn’t have an update to share. A few days later, the representative invited me to a Teams video call to provide an update. During that call, I was informed that they had decided not to move forward with my application due to a perceived lack of leadership experience. This was surprising, as I hadn’t had the opportunity to discuss my leadership background during the process. The conversation concluded with the representative asking if I had any feedback about the recruitment experience.
