I had an incredibly frustrating experience. The first two rounds of the process were great. One quick screening phone call with HR and then met virtually with two superiors from the department. I got great feedback, my questions were answered thoroughly, and email communication was great. For the third round, they asked me with 24 hours notice to go into their office in the middle of a work day (I had to make up an excuse to my boss as to why I had to stop working early) and after was told the decision would be made quickly. Then, radio silence. After two unanswered follow-ups to HR (it's two weeks after my final interview at this point) I reached out to one of the department heads who I had a good rapport with, who gave me a very vague "we'll have the decision soon" and then about another week and a half later, got a rejection from a no-reply email. Nobody I spoke to during the process reached out personally, or responded to my "thank you for your time and I would appreciate any feedback" message. It all felt very unprofessional.
